Games Modes? lua?
Scanning the forums I've read a lot about lua, and different games modes. Does someone fancy giving me the low down? I would love to be able to play a simple game where when I kill the enemy brain I WIN! I've tried adding an enemy brain in scene editor, but it just dies and the game carries on like an average Skirmish... Which brings me onto my next question, In scene editor I cannot save my scenes without overwriting the one I loaded... which makes no sense to me at all. If the above is possible it would make an even better game out off CC, which when I first started playing I thought impossible.

Thanks 3POK_PHALE. Where can I find some different modes? Is there one that lets me win when I kill the enemy brain?

Re: Games Modes? lua?
Thanks again, but It's not really what I'm looking for. Is there no way to be able to set up a scene with and enemy brain. Play the scene in a Skirmish and win when the brain is destroyed? I'm confused because It seems like a simple concept from where im standing. Also, am I able to save the scenes I edit from exsisting scene? Because everytime I load a scene to edit, it asks me to save it before previewing it. Obviously, I don't want to loes the orginal scene, so I click no. But when the scene loads there is nothing there...

No. You need Lua.

Re: Games Modes? lua?
In b22, Lua only works from the campaign menu, so you have to load scenes there for the functionality to work within them.
This problem will likely be fixed in the next build, Data's working on his campaign logic.

Cool, guess we all just have to sit and wait for B23.
