Post Sync software
Could someone recommend a free, high-volume sync program that isn't AllWay Sync?

I need it to transfer stuff to an SD card frequently.

Uh. Windows Explorer? As long as you have a card reader, Windows is capable of transferring files to flash ram.

I mean something that can sync automatically.

Like, hit a button, and all new files jump to the card.

*Sigh*

Look. We are talking about moving hundreds of new files back and forth on a daily basis.

And I don't want to have to bother with doing it manually.

I implore you all, could one of you please surrender a program that will do what I ask?

AllWay crapped out on me because I "Exceeded plotted amounts of data needed for private use", therefore it locked itself down and asked me to buy the Pro version.

Would all these files always be in the same place? If so, with a bit of learning and google, you could write yourself a batch file. I myself don't know how to code it, but it's probably really easy.

Nein. Here, there and everywhere. They're in about 12-15 different folders.

Are the folders fixed? Or are the folders and locations changing at a moment's notice?

Fixed. They're fixed.

I just need something that can sync large amounts of data at the push of a button.

I dont understand. If the files aren't moving and aren't changing file names, why don't you just drag and drop?

Because that would be too easy. There are a lot of things you could do on a computer but you don't because it's easier to do it another way. Hell, who needs a GUI, DOS operating systems ftw.

Comparing command lines and GUIs is not the same as comparing a magical "sync" button to drag and drop.

Someone out here mentioned batch files. Do some reading.

Yes it is. You don't NEED it, it just makes life easier. The amount it makes things easier matters not. I know I'm being hypocritical here, as I did it to Empy, but we kinda need to give people what they want, because they probably have reasons for it, unless we can think of a way to make it easier/funner for them.
And yes, I do realize that we are not a personal army/here to serve them, but how much can it hurt just to chill and give them what they want instead of being so militant about things the whole time?
If you have something like what he wants in mind/something easier for him, post it. Or, if you can't think of anything, suggest an alternative. If he dismisses it, just say okay and stop replying.
In turn, Masses should have really said something like "Okay, I'll keep it in mind, but it'd be infinitely easier for me if I could get a program like this"
@Masses: Look at Chjees's mod tool thing, I think it was in mod making. It transfers files from one place to another. With a little bit of editing, it should do what you want. Or, you could commission Chjees to do it for you.
