Voyage Century Online MMORPG
Found an interesting Pirate MMORPG that's free and has ship combat. It's still a beta but it's really fun. Not that big of a download, and it's easy to get into, but there's no PvP implemented yet. If you join... add Mombasa (me) and Garland Ester (venn177). There are cooperative quests plus large scale fleet battles and land skirmishes. The system requirements are flexible, on low the game looks pretty good. Minimun Req. • Intel Pentium III 500MHz or equivalent processor • NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX400 video card • 128 MB RAM • 3.5GB free hard disk space
Reccomended Req. • Intel Pentium IV 2GHz processor • NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti4200 video card • 256 MB RAM • 3.5GB free hard disk space And on high it looks great. http://voyagecenturyonline.com

I'd say it's pretty nice overall. The whole fact that your sailors spend 2x their number in silver every 15 seconds (In provisions) was a bit of a downer, though. And the fact that the docker won't let you leave if you have sick or wounded sailors or have few provisions. Sometimes you can get stranded on some island where you can't easily make money to pay him for sailors, healing sailors, or provisions and will be stuck there until someone comes to your aid.

Money is easy to get on this game. Quit complaining. The game is in 0.1 beta and is the highest rated free game on http://www.mmorpg.com, just wait. It's GarlandEster, no space. I'm baaaa-ack. Jamesy told me to in Cawd 4, so I'm back. PM me what I've missed.

I stay away from MMO's except during Christmas break, so it's a general lack of interest from me. But what makes this one special? Also, I liked Father Ven better as a name.

Magellan.
Also I managed to get my ship upgraded last night.
I'm bearing down on venns level, though I'm poor as hell and ran out of quests.
