Unless your hard drive is like, over 100 years old, they hardly make any noise anymore. |

I havn't heard that sound since the last time my Windows 98 booted up. Which was 3-4 years ago. You do know that only ancient and cheap computers do this, right? |

You do realize that the sound is better muffled by the case of the drive now, right? |

Speaking of sounds, every time my PC tries to read the Crysis DVD, it makes this weird knocking sound that repeats every 3 beats. KNOCKwhiiir...2...3...KNOCKwhiiiiir...2...3...KNOCKwhiiiiiir It's extremely annoying. |
