Yes, so my computer's been having this problem since around Christmas, and before wasting tons of cash and precious time on a reparation, I need to know what it is: In the beginning, I had a problem where I couldn't turn it on. I had it sent in to the city for repairs, which took extremely long, and I got it back by Christmas time. What the guys there had done, was to smack my hard-drive into a new computer. When I got it back, it would just randomly bluescreen at me every 12 hours, and couldn't survive Star Wars Battlefront much longer than an hour before the screen went all pretty blue with white stripes. So, I had this chick re-install Windows and everything, and it worked perfectly... For 3 days. Then it went back to the bluescreening every 12 hours, blah blah. I got Windows re-installed, this time at the guy I bought the computer off, and it worked fine for a while before ♥♥♥♥ up against. The girl who fixed it for me the first time, says it might be some loose hardware. What could it be? Thing is, I can't be trusted with computer repairs, but if I tell the guys in the city what the problem is, I might get it back before I'm 60. Anyone? Also, sorry if it's not enough info for you guys, but I can't speak computer. |

Oluf is the king of not googling stuff and wasting our time on the forum. Like he said, back up the contents of your drive and reinstall windows. |

Of course I'm the king of not googling stuff, but when it's been reinstalled twice and still ♥♥♥♥ up, there's gotta be more to it. I mean, I can't re-install Windows every 3 days. |

If the problem persists even after a new computer (sans the HDD), then obviously the hard drive is failing. |

Uh huh. So the hard drive is the problem? As in a hardware problem? The times I re-installed Windows, I gave a ♥♥♥♥ about anything that was on it, so I lost all my musics and loli, since I just wanted my computer back to life. Also, after my latest test (a minute ago), it's gone back to the refuse-to-start problem. |
