Still in the setup, but now with services (chanserv and nickserv)

All are welcome to come on it, cortex.datarealms.com is the server, irc://cortex.datarealms.com/ Should work.

And if anyone goes offtopic on this thread after me deleting the other one, they will be banned for a day. Going off topic like that is unacceptable.

I am looking for opers , So apply in this thread (and "can i be a oper" doesnt cut it. )

Once we get a few opers and things setup on it alittle bit more, the pjirc will be going to the new server.

We didn't go off-topic. You told us to discuss the server, we told you it'd fail because you abuse power. Much like the threat you gave just then.
Anyway, I'd love to apply for oper, doubtful I'll get it though. Eh, it's your server, your choice. Anyway, I have a phuckton of administrative experience, some here at Drl ( Okay, so maybe I didn't do so good then. I admit I ♥♥♥♥ up, no need to point it out. )
Also, I'd set up a mIRC account as a bot, so you guys'd have new scripts whenever you wanted them, and I'd get the scripting experience.
Reminding me, I'll get to work on the votekick script today, James.

I would happily applly as a oper, just because i dont loose my temper so fast, and I'm online quite often... (please notice i live in Europe...)

How exactly is talking about you moderating a server off topic from you moderating a server [hence the subject.]?

Quite simply, your putting yourself in a good light by removing those who criticize.

Oh yes I should certainly get oper, I know that I'm the definition of a cool guy, and we just agree so much.

But, really, oper would be nice. I'm over the whole "revolutionarylol" aspect, no longer flame, and I am capable of cleaning up my act on irc.

I suggest you do what I did, write an official style letter of application and PM it to WJ.

I asked him in IRC, and he said between 100 and 600 words.

I managed 245.

So, apparently, I hear that everyone is banned from the old IRC server so they HAVE to move to this one. This is a blatant power play. Who wants to make a channel and register it?

Or it's, like, a move to the official servers where James has more control over the server and stuff like that. Yeah.
Noone's forcing you to go to the new server, but you won't be allowed into the old channel on synirc.

...and thus they ARE. Because there is no other DRL server. I plan... to have someone ELSE change that. :P I don't go to IRC, so I don't want to take the effort. However, it's the principle. Sure, greater moderation power. But that's a downside when you're dealing with irresponsible people.

Or, really, power hungry.

Or that he's actually doing something selfless. The other network was unstable, the admins were ♥♥♥♥, and they were thinking of taking it down. This is the second time we've moved, and this way he doesn't have to fear that. People judge others by their own character, Empy. Remember that.

And that's known as a more intelligently put "I know you are, but what am I?!" No, what I am saying is that that's good, but we don't trust him. He could have gone to another server and we'd be happy. His own, and it just gives us flashbacks.

Also, stop defending him despite overwhelming evidence that he would abuse power so that you get promoted. I mean, look at his history!

1. You're not attacking me, you're attacking James. And you know that wasn't "I know you are, but what am I?" You're being childish and twisting words.
2. I remember a certian someone coming back after months of inactivity and asking for admin.
3. You have no clue as to James's motives, nor mine. You have neither A. Overwhelming evidence nor B. Any evidence at all. All just speculation.
