				  Quick CPU question.

Um, I've got a CPU monitor up on the Vista sidebar, and I'm just sitting here not running anything but XChat and Firefox and it's freaking out. Like, jumping from 10% to 50% to 30% to 100% etc. Been like that since I installed Vista.
This strikes me as odd. Is it?

Ctrl + Alt + del to see if it's just a problem with the monitor. Your CPU could be about to pop.

Like? I haven't added anything new to what's running besides Vista. Maybe something with all the new effects?
Also, if it's any help, CC pushes it to 100% CPU usage and keeps it there until it's off.

Whenever the computer does anything it's liable to dedicate all the power it has to the task.
It's not uncommon for refreshing a webpage to spike your CPU usage to full. Just for a moment though.
