Some people said it'd never be done , some embraced it . Some people will be checking out the first full release on new years. All that being said. Webspace is purchased and if anyone wants to help with the moderation, mod adding, etc. That'd be really great. Just post on this or PM me. This is going to be an awesome site. |

If someone codes it up, it can be hosted here. |

I'm under the impression he's already got it coded, or found software someway that was pre-made. I'll volunteer to help. It's about time we got the mods off of the forums. |

Apparently there is more than one. We shouldn't judge on them until we see them. |

And I probably have 400 some mods that were deletedby the forum wipe. If you want them all, I supose I can rar all of them and send them to you, but it might end up being half a gig. |

(it'll be done easily before the newyear though. Since you can't post links on the forum anyone thats wants to see what I'm working towards can let me know on here or pm me. Honestly, if anyones is better than the mosets tree solution I've decided on instead of the php site I've been coding for the last 3 weeks than I'lll take down the site. (I don't want to have to look and 2 sites and the forums for mods.) and I hope he feels the same way. Yeah, I definetly could use it. |

Should honestly just have WizardJames install Joomla and be done with it. |

I can help with moderation, if you want. Sounds like a good idea, in fact, one I've been hoping for for a while. If you need graphical help I could also potentially lend a hand. |

Ok guys here's the deal. I've been talking with wizardjames about using having the mod site being hosted here and talks are good. I'm looking for a phpbb3 solution to integrate with joomla. But in the meanwhile we need to get something up and running Also so far the Admins are: Myself ProjektTHOR Thanatos whitty (when he finally signs up ) and possibly: TheLastBanana (I don't know him very well, we'll let him try for now) I think about 5 admins is a good place to stop at so we'll see until then. Tonight I'll be working on finding that solution, also on finding what I need to setup to allow it to upload files. You guys are also welcome to try since this is top priority. on lower priorities we need these things done 1. categories setup 2. Finishing of the post page (not to be setup until we fix the upload issue) 3. A Theme to work off of and customize for the site 4. coffee, lots and lots of it, it's going to be an intense week. 5. and finally the removal of the excess joomla pages, and setup of the rss function in relation to the mods. When this is completed we will have a fully functioning mod page that can: 1. organize mods by category, ratings, downloads, views, alphabetically, and when last updated 2. Allow users to update their mod and have it show up as an update 3. Include an author, Version Number, Name, Pictures, description and more in a mod page 4. Allow other users to comment on the mod forum style. (for better or worse ) 5. Allow users to track new mods through rss, opml, atom, etc. This'll be an exciting project. If it turns out right it'll be official. So let's get to work. |

Make me an admin, I actually know how to judge things objectively. |

NOT Whitty, or Thanatos, more or less the important one there is never giving Whitty power, he can't control a small forum with ~10 active members. |
