Post Official Crysis Thread.
Seeing as we've reverted back, and it doesn't look like we're getting the old posts back, I'm remaking the Crysis thread. You can get the game from a plethora of places, here we discuss, exchange, etc. levels. Also my revamp of the first level in "hurricane mode" is almost done, once it is I'll upload it to someplace and post linkage here. Note: You must have physics at medium and a mediocrely good PC in order to play my modded level, as tornadoes rape houses. A lot.

Whoops, I probably should've done this myself. To anyone who missed this the first time around, it was merely composed of "OMG, it t3h r0x94 3!(*&(!!!oneone!!!eji" combined with various pictures of people being exploded through walls and tornadoes shredding buildings. Not much, in other words.

I suppose not, but still...Crysis is Crysis man, and nothing comes close to tornadoes in an FPS.

Is there anyway to spawn tornades via the "`" console? That'll be awesome to be able to call down doom anywhere.

No, there's not.
The equivalent is ctrl + G in the editor.

HUGE| nuke tank + swarms of aliens with freezy weapons= really awesome

I cant believe it tookme so long to realize there was a whole another section for vehicle, AI ect.
TAC tank is really cool, but if you have a slow computer you might want to refrain from useing it and its island wiping nukes.

editor is in the directory

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Sandbox2 Installer <here to install

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Bin32 <here to use

when in editor dont overlook archtype entity like i did or you miss the really good stuff.

oh and if you just get into the editor, hit file open island then the .cry file to open the island map.

Ctrl+G to enter game when ready

If you want to enter editor mode again (like if you die) press Alt+G then use arrow keys to move over to game and the enter game mode.

oh and if you spawn the alien scouts, make sue you also spawn something you can use to take them out, and dont run if you are about to get frozen, or you fall and shatter.

Post Re: Official Crysis Thread.
why do you need us to post levels? the levels it comes with are good enough. and my levels are the same as defaults except with nukes, weapons, vehicles, aliens, and what ever feel like scattered over a mile. just experiment the editor is alot easier than most.

and how can you say the graphics are "alright". If you cant play it on high what do you expect? the game developers aren't magical and cant turn your computer into something it isnt.

And the editor allows you to access a multiplayer map and modify the demo level at your will.
