If the fact that he was being followed by F-22s wasn't cool enough he broke the sound barrier. And that was the end. f there has been a superhero movie to see I think this is it.

Haven't watched trailer, but someone told me about this today and said it was basically a guy in a metal suit killing a whole bunch of Middle-Eastern people.

I can only really point out that that's kinda flame-y.

EDIT: Watched the trailer, and, uh, yeah, the plot is obviously "intelligent white guy gets captured by swarthy Muslim barbarians, builds suit and kills Arabs". Please, no more strawman arguments from you, my boy.

I must say, it was a bit patriotic true-blue-American in that scene. Mind you, he did say,

"They say the best weapon is the one you never have to fire. I prefer the weapon you only need to fire once. That's how dad did it, That's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far."

Although I'm not quite sure how that could be taken. The fact that he mentions myspace too, might just be a shameless plug.

Iron man = easily one of the greatest superhero of the comics. Iron man movie = freaking awesome. Like the flamethrowers, and THOR makes an excelent point 21GP.

Also @21GP: If you had any idea who Iron Man is suppost to be, or when Iron Man started you would understand the bias of the "middle east" pwnage.

Seriously, if you watched a single Ironman cartoon, you would too be creaming your pants while watching this trailer.

OFF TOPIC (kinda) : I also found an Aquaman trailer, I don't know a whole lot about aquaman, but the movie seems to be made of pure win, check it out.

Thats the inherent issue with every comic book/graphic novel/anime to movie port thats made.

The producer's priority is not staying true to the film (insofar that doing so affects sales). Their priority is not preserving somethings integrity. It's making money.

Additionally, haven't you considered that the statement you're quoting is supposed to be satirical? Thats what I got from it. Look at movies like Team America, World Police. That movie was filled with messages like that, and was completely satirical.
