Doesn't matter how good it looks on a high spec machine, it'll look and run like pants on mine. |

Is it me or does it look like Halo and Ghost Recon's bastard child? (delta force with super suit fighting Koreans and aliens.) Anyway, Trying to manage funds so I can upgrade my graphics card (looking at nvidia 8800s) and ram ($42 a GB) Main features Im psyched for include the destructible buildings, long view distances, the tool set. Also until seeing Shade's post I did not realize they were putting tornadoes in game (Tornadoes+alot of grenades=happiness) also, did anyone here try to get into the closed multi player beta? (hopeing maps are large) |

This game is going to win. You can kill people with CHICKENS!! And throw them into the air and shoot them like a clay pigeon. And run them over with a jeep, then shoot the petrol tank and kersplode them. And kill them by punching them in the face. And snipe them. And put them to sleep. And see bullets ping off your suit. And kill aliens. And (Hopefully) sink an aircraft carrier by punching a hole in the side. And wreck the ♥♥♥♥ out of everything and everyone. awesome. The only two things I want are: Bullet holes. Proper ones. Like, you pop a hole in a metal wall of a hut. Then, when a fool walks by, you're looking at them through your makeshift spyhole. You can punch the wall into him and then shoot him. Just to be sure. Proper Destruction. Not any of this "It has preset destruction points" crap, fix it up so that if you shoot a fence, it splinters into tiny pieces that you can then shoot into tinier pieces! Also, full destruction in MP would rock. Wait. That's three things. Who the hell cares? |

From what I've heard, they're only giving out the beta keys to "Founders" or whatever. The extra-whipped cream subscribers. Also, maps: measured in multiple realworld miles. |

saw some videos from people with the beta, and wow just wow. there is alot of wildlife in that game, ducks, turtles, fish, frogs, sharks, birds (more?) also i noticed that nuclear explosions will be in multi player (not sure if thats part of the game mode or a weapon (lets hope not)) Thanks Lord Tim for confirming my hope and cambiogris, is your statement suggesting you have some inside information? (if so, care to share?) Well I just bought 2 GBs of ram today (3 total now) and just need to upgrade my Nvidia 6600 to a Nvidia 8800 (GTS I think) before November and/or the demo release. Just one more thing, I know there is an advanced building and object destruction system, but does it also include the terrain? (if so,that combined with the ability to make tunnels easily in the map editor, I might start to hope that someone might make a cortex command mod, complete with gibbing skeletons and brains) Found a neat video showing off the map editor, I REALLY like the tunnel and mountain thing (MUST MAKE NORAD) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHPWHYiP ... ed&search= anouther video, OMG you can pick up chickens!! CHICKENS IN HD!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyGqxoMbyKQ&NR=1 |

Well, since this isn't coming out for PS3, and Crytek Project is only rumored (And I very much hope it's similar to Crysis!) I guess I'll stick with Mercenaries 2, and the almighy Call of Duty 4... But by God I want this! My compy wouldn't not run this game it would come up with a message "Error has occurred... you actually expected this to work?!" and then somehow slap me across the face. |
