If I wanted to put my laptop's monitor output to be dumped onto a tv? Is it even possible? Wizzy Jay it would be nice if you would help me out here.

A hookup to output the projector feed from your computer into RCA/Component/HDMI cables.
That's all.
Assuming your computer has a projector feed, which is not guaranteed.

Re: What would I need...?
Ever hooked up a monitor to an old desktop?
It'll look like that, a big wide port with 2 screw pins on the sides. It'll also probably be marked with some symbol.
The hookup can probably be obtained at radioshack or something.

Re: What would I need...?
It's totally possible. I hooked up a laptop to my widescreen tv, and played 4-player CC on it. Using 360 controllers.
You need one of the fancy cables. Probably S-Video if you TV has a slot for that.

Re: What would I need...?
It depends solely on the outputs of your laptop.
There are three possible options on a laptop: S-Video SVGA HDMI
Google those respective interfaces and see if you have one of them on your laptop. If you do, buy a cable for it.

Re: What would I need...?
I found out that the framerate would slow down too much, so I can't dump Morrowind and CC and other things onto the TV:(

Re: What would I need...?
Nope, its not useable unless you got a flat screen (lcd or plasma based) screen. then you can use the dvi or vga connectors to connect with a cable.

I dont know where that statement came from. I watch high-resolution DVD video on a S-Video out to my TV and I dont experience any problems
