Post subject:  Bartle Test
Basically, the Bartle test is meant to quantify your approach to MUDs (multi-user dungeons). It's MUD instead of MMORPG because the latter term didn't exist back when it was created. The test questions still apply and the results have been quite accurate for everyone I've known. So, out of curiosity. I want to see what you all get. Are you a spade, who wants to know everything about anything? Are you a diamond, who wants to get everything and be known for it? Are you a heart, who is really in it for the social aspect? Are you a club, who... well... clubs people for kicks? Let's find out...

Achiever 73.33%
Explorer 80.00%
Killer 26.67%
Socializer 20.00%

So I'm an EAKS. As a note, KoL is one of the most popular games among those that got an EAKS result. Go figure.

Umm... what do I open the Bartle test with? When I click on it it asks for what program I should ude to run it.

EDIT- nvm, I had to save it then open with IE.

Anyways;

SEKA

SEKA players are usually very interested in the the 'total experience' of a virtual world--meeting other people and finding the unique places within it. They don't care much for PVP or levelling, but meeting up with online friends to see new parts of the world is usually fun and exciting.

Although, personally, I think I would have much less Achiever and a little more Socializer.

Also, that idea about being able to draw the maps and sell them in-game was clever. Someone should do that.

I'm more of a soldier than a scout a lot of the time, although my disposition does make a sniper in many games.

I know that I hate MMOs with leveling systems becuase it makes for a player who loooks like a human but is harder to kill than a tank...

Anyone familiar with my search for 'epic' mmos won't be suprised with my score.

The games played by people like you seems to be more of a list, albeit in order, of popularity. Slight differences for shooter/mmo groups.

I mean, I only play 2 of these games, and they happen to start with Battlefield.
