So, I downloaded Windows Media Player 11, and, all media I've seen has suggested that once you download it, Mozilla, IE, and Opera will automatically see it, and use it as a plugin.

Hmm...that's a tough one...don't use opera? Firefox is better? Those are 2 simple answers, I can't even download WMP...:'(

Yea. Opera rocks. I don't know why it's not working though, give me the link and I'll see if I can open it in mine.
