Post subject:  General D&D Discussion

Now that I've figured out that the D&D game that I wanted will come out on July 17 (D&D Tactics), I figured we discuss D&D here!

What a childish stereotype. I play D&D, and I don't weigh 200 lbs. and wear broken glasses.

D&D is fun, because if you're a good enough dungeon master, it's like all the other players are your little puppets falling into all your traps and monsters.

And sorry, I don't know any kind of D&D game like that. That would be pretty cool if there was something like that, though

Yeah, it's a fun game. Just today I was stealing all of my parties loot. They would kill a monster, then I would clean out the body. They got pissed and started luring monsters to me with charm.

EDIT- It sucks 'cause all the current online D&D games are 3d and not the game board, grid like type.

my step dad used to play D&D a lot and he's awesome he used to get grid paper and like draw out one of the 2d maps on it so he could plan things out on it lol and he was good.

W00t!! Rangers!!

Nothin' can beat rangers and their point blank shot.

So I guess this means that their isn't an online, gridlike D&D game?

How about any gridlike D&D game that you can play against a computer, not online?

Any online version must be inferior

once, I ate a torch

That character didn't last long

no one will ever program a game to be able to do that

Hey, I did some research, and it looks like there is going to be a grid;ike release for the psp.

It will be called D&D Tactics, and will use the gridbased system. It will also have online multiplayer!

I guess we must wait till July 17 though...
