Ok I use Shaw Cable with a Motarolla Surfboard modem and everyonce in awhile (usually at night) it disconnects from the internet for like 10 minutes. Now I believe my max bandwidth per month is 60GB I don't think I used up that much bandwidth yet. Do you think it could be a problem with the modem or is my ISP just doing maintenance on the servers or something. |

If it's at night (how late exactly?), it's very likely going to be maintenance. It should be like 2 AM, though. ![]() |

vf.shawcable.net Were do you live? bc? Hmm, if you dont have a black modem you can call and say your having problems, they will check logs, and come and replace the one you got with a newer one, or a black one. shaws petty good for support |

Its maintenance. Have you even bothered calling tech support with an outage complaint? |

For future reference, call them first, then ask for outside help when the in-house tech support fails. |
