Hey guys.

I just bought a Collection replica of a black powder revolver, and I'm curious what it could be. at first I thought I had in the hands a Dragoon, but It looks like more of a Colt Navy Model 1861...even if the cannon is a bit longer and the trigger in more downer on the Navy....

but here's a picture, hope you guys know a bit about theses thingies.

Hmm, the 1861 looks a bit different in design near the base of the barrel than yours.
1861:

Notice the smooth design at the base of the barrel
and 1860:

It has more of the cut design that yours seems to have. Anyway, I'd put my money on what you have there is the 1860 Army.

Nice replica anyway, I assume it's a non-firing type, right?

Aw, thanks a lot, man!

And yes, it's a non-firing replica...sadly. Do you know how do I remove the cannon on this revolver? I need to check something on it.

I concur, 1860 Army. The Navies are of a smaller caliber- I think .36 versus the Army's .44, and you can kind of see the difference between them visually. If nothing else, measure the internal barrel diameter to make sure.

x_x' It's .36... Maybe it's an hybrid? I don't know

EDIT= Well, I checked again and it's a .44, problem solved.
