   |   Does anyone browse fullscreen?I don't run anything full screen except games, but I know a lot of people (people who use windows mostly from what I can tell) like to maximize everything (for some reason).
I maxed up chrome on this forum just for kicks and the amount of wasted space was pretty crazy so now I'm wondering if anyone actually browses the internet like this.

edit: isn't 'browse' a stupid word for what we do on here?

   |   Re: Does anyone browse fullscreen?I do, but I've got a dual monitor hook-up so I can have things going on the other screen.

   |   Re: Does anyone browse fullscreen?Oh that reminds me, the absence of multiple desktop "spaces" on the computer I'm using right now is killing me.

   |   Re: Does anyone browse fullscreen? No because 5760x1080 pixels for a browser is pretty excessive.

   |   Re: Does anyone browse fullscreen?I don't get the point of browsing fullscreen, to much wasted space. Windows user.
EDIT: we talking about f11 fullscreen or the button that makes it take up most of the screen?

   |   Re: Does anyone browse fullscreen?Oh yes, maximized all the time. I find it distracting to have all these other windows in view, IT DISRUPTS THE PURITY OF WASTING TIME ON THE INTERNET. And likewise does the internet distract me from other activities. Probably boils down to the fact that i have a monorail for a mind. A monorail without magnetic locking that prevents derailment.

   |   Re: Does anyone browse fullscreen?I usually use the internet maximized, but not f11 fullscreened (why would you?). As far as other windows go I tend to either put them on the left or right half of the screen, or just set them to a custom size, depends on the window really.

   |   Re: Does anyone browse fullscreen?vertical tab arrangements are the bee's knees
side note: I fullscreen on my netbook because 1280x800 is just barely more pixels than my phone and I need my real estate
