A quick heads up for new forum users
First of all, welcome! With Cortex Command coming to Steam, we're seeing a lot of new users very quickly, and in turn the moderators (us) are dealing with a lot of new posts we have to manually approve. We are forced to use a manual approval system because every now and then we get attacked by forum spam bots, and in that way we can easily eliminate the spam before you ever knew it was there. So I just wanted to give you new guys a heads up, if your post doesn't appear immediately, IT IS IN THE APPROVAL LINE UP, and I promise we will see it and we will approve of it in due time. Posting the same message or topic again will not make it work any faster and only clogs up the process for everyone, so please refrain from doing that. The great part about this system is that once you have been approved, you will not need to be approved again, and can post freely once we've verified you aren't a robot. Also, please be sure to familiarize yourself with the Forum Rules, and though it may be a touch outdated, the Useful Threads post may help you with some of the more common issues facing new players for Cortex Command. Finally, the Introduction Thread is there for you should you feel the urge to do that sort of thing. On behalf of the community we hope you'll stick around and have a great time, welcome to DRLFF.

Yeah, uhh. I wondered why my post didn't initially appear (didn't read the page after posting), but after reposting again I saw that and realized with an oops. Sorry about that!

Sigining up with Steam... thought this place was Indie :O Plus- If you make a 2nd game, Release a third. That'll break your Steam contract fast.

Re: A quick heads up for new forum users
Just because it's on Steam doesn't make it not-Indie. Plenty of Indie games on Steam. And the contract thing was referring to Valve not releasing any 3 games (primarily Half Life 3 or Ep 3).

And just because a game got greenlit on steam doesn't mean we can't see if it had any effect on forum users. So let the man ask in peace.

It wasn't greenlit anyway! It didn't have to go through that process or get enough exposure/interest.
