If I had finished the original series, and had Nickleodeon, I probably would. It doesn't seem like it'll be bad, but I'm always sceptical about spin-offs. What about YOU?

Personally, i watched the Completed Series so Naturally i'll Take a look into it Once First Season Has Finshed.

Im going to watch it, although I am a little skeptical of her being in a steam-punk city, and not having a main villain, but hey they might pull it off anyway, I hear its going to be a little darker and more mature though

Westren Anime as a Culture is Changing towards Eastren Which is Mature in a matter of speaking, but towards the End of The Last Airbender it was for more of a Mature Viewer.

which was entirely at random and never used again, it always occured to me that she could've used that to defeat Ozai freaking easily but I guess thats speculation

I never saw the first one complete, but I liked a lot the series and saw it almost complete.
Well, before watching this new one I'd have to watch the first one complete...

But I don't know, making a second part of things almost always end in failure.

It's amazing. It's steampunk, it's not a full series so it can't really be corrupted, It's the future. A million times yes I want to see this.

First: She does use bloodbending, on the retired fire-nation commander she thought had killed her mother. It is entirely understandable that she would only be willing to use it in the most personal of matters, since it is easily the darkest kind of bending in the entire show.
Second: Hama specifically states that it can only be used during full moon, due to the amount of power required to pull off such a complex task, one would assume. Of course, Katara is obviously incredibly more powerful than Hama, but that would only lead to an explanation of why she managed to pick it up so easily. One could also speculate that as Sozin's comet approached, the power of water bending would diminish slightly.

Also, I'm looking forward to the new series, as I'm always happy when something I've loved so thoroughly gets a chance to expand. With any luck, the new addition will be somewhat as awesome as the original. If it isn't, then we can simply forget about it and move on, with the slight regret that the Avatar world was never explored to it's limit.

Fun fact about blood-bending: It's based on a real martial art, similar to jujitsu. I used to practice it, until my wrist got screwed up (because of it).

Anyways, looking forward to this new series. Looks promising.

All of the various bending styles were based off actual, real life martial arts. They went to quite some length to make this show awesome, especially in that aspect.
