Post subject:  Post Rock/Math Rock

While, judging that Dubstep gets its own thread, I believe that post rock warrants its own.

For those unfamiliar with post rock, its a style of music, consisting mainly of instrumentals. It often makes use of many different time signatures.

Math rock is a similar genre, making use of different time signatures and instrumentals, math rock has more angular sound however, and is even slightly jazzy.

Some of my favorite post rock:

65DaysOfStatic: Retreat, retreat

Godspeed You! Black Emperor: Moya. (4 minute cello intro can be to much for some people, but most people love the guitar bit afterwords)

GYBE: Storm

Mogwai: I know you are but what am I?

Mogwai: Take me somewhere nice

My friend and I might make some of our own this summer.
