Post Dental caps
Yea so I had a root canal a few years back. They ground down my tooth and gave me a tooth cap.
Well my cap just fell off... like 2 minutes ago.
i found some temp cement for teeth so im reattaching it. anything else i should do?

Also, I just became infuriated that my idiot dentist did such a shitty job... so would somebody

Yes, go to the dentist.
Aside from that, I've never had tooth problems myself, so I don't know if there's anything specific you need to do. But I'd say getting to the dentist is pretty much priority 1.

Perhaps this is not the best place to ask for advice. Seek actual medical advice is basically the only good advice you'll get.

I really don't know why people always come to DRL when they have a problem. Swallow a quarter? DRL. Tooth fell off? DRL. Need a Turkish translation? DRL. Your mother doesn't trust you or your brother? DRL.

Well it being the day before easter and all, i cant go to a dentist until monday.

I was wondering if i should do anything like not eat certain foods or something. I know I should not eat for 3 hours after using the tempcement.

I'd suggest following braces rules (no gum, no peanut butter, no popcorn, etc) in the interim

Avoid food as much as you can until that gets properly fixed up. Infection is quite the ♥♥♥♥♥.

I am sad now.

I'm pretty sure you're not meant to bite candy canes

I mean I chew boiled sweets all the time but I'm smart enough that I wouldn't blame my dentist if I snapped my own prosthetic tooth that way (not that I could as it's right at the front)

I am just incredibly frustrated that I can no longer eat correctly... until monday.
NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT IT JUST FELL OFF AGAIN!
This is becoming very, very, VERY annoying. screw it I am leaving it out.
Also, I always bite candy canes. I have since I was a child, and misplacing blame because I am greatly irritated that this happened does not make me not as smart as you.
not to mention the fact did I did not break the crown, but that the cement holding it down broke. I thought that they would actually use something that is strong... and the temp kind is just worse! It broke without me even doing anything to it!
