Sorry for starting yet another topic, but I have no idea what is supposed to be happening now. I purchased Cortex Command using my credit card. After the purchase went through it told me to wait atleast 12 hours for something.

You should indeed receive a code. You might want to check your spam folders and such.

B stands for Build.
Thus, B24 is Build 24. It's the latest version of Cortex Command.

So I download those files for the latest build, and then put in my code when (if) I get it?

Those don't need a code, as the DRM system hasn't been fully worked out yet.
It shouldn't make any difference to you.

So that's like the latest, full and FREE version? Doesn't that defeat the object of putting the game up for sale anyway?

It's DRM free, not free free. If you use that software without buying it, it's still piracy, but Data's nice enough to make it far easier to use for the people that did buy it legitimately.

B24 needed to be DRM free for the Humble Indie Bundle, and then Data never got around to making proper DRM for the non HIB version, so he just gave B24 to the forum-goers, since we're devoted patrons and all. Admittedly, it's working on the honor system, but we're mostly a good bunch of people. Plus, if a person really enjoys CC, then they can buy it to A) Support Datarealms and B) ensure they get all future updates.
