						Wow... that was... an experience.
Never heard of this before today. Quite like what I'm hearing so far.

I'm so glad you didn't post MT Eden, Unfortunately I feel the same about deadmau5. however, More dubstep for ya, also This? Maybe more like this. Hell a good dirty bass can make anything sound decent, even if its used wrong.

whitty wrote: Strobe got decent at 6:48. And thaaats One reason I don't like deadmau5. I like techno, I like trance, I like dubstep and noiscore. The problem is, that he makes trance, that he thinks is some kind of techno-dance thing. The result is always either really boring techno, or trance thats just to up-beat to be good. Also, to stay on topic, here's a tutorial for How to make dubstep. This one's for FL Studio, There's some for other programs, and there's also better tutorials, but the problem is, their all split into like 5 different videos that are like 10 minutes each. Yes I tried making Dubstep, Yes, it sucked balls, and no i'm not going to annoy you with it. I just thought this was worth mentioning because its actually pretty easy to do, and I thought it'd be awesome if someone else tried to make some.

Lizard wrote: Bass spam isn't really that good music imo. What Lizard said. I don't like Dubstep, but there are a select few Drum & Bass artists that are pretty decent since they use more than KICK SNARE KICK SNARE KICKSNARE 174 BPM KICK SNARE in their songs.

I was thinking of posting that one, but posted broken string instead. Also, Since my last post, I have made another really shitty dubstep track... because I was just sitting around going... "Dubstep.... DUBSTEP....OHHHHH DUBSTEP! DOOOBSTAAAAAP!!!!" like some kind of zombie that wants grungy electronica instead of brains. I'm trying to decide if I want to upload it anywhere or not. big deterrent is that its really repetitive, even for me. (note, before anyone complains that I used the word 'electronica', I'd like to point out that I use it as a catch-all for all electronic music, not that it is a genre, because it isn't)---edit that damn call can not be completed as dialed sound... god damn it whitty....

I'd take a listen, even if it is mindlessly repetitive. I'm interested to know how easy it is on such a short timescale.

Lizard wrote: Bass spam isn't really that good music imo. yeah a lot of the stuff posted in this thread isn't even dubstep, it's just brostep trash. deadmau5 is not dubstep. none of the ♥♥♥♥ he has made, ever, qualifies as dubstep. ESPECIALLY get in my cart pig/strobe. total joke. making GOOD dubstep is not easy. you honestly have no idea what you're doing if you think it is. think up something original, innovate in a dubstep track and that is how you make good dubstep(and actually have musical sense. chord progression, etc). glad to see no Joker/Nero was posted yet. wouldn't want to drop any good dubstep.

I make music in my free time, I have at least some musical sense. the hardest part is getting it out of my head and into a listenable form, without F-ing up. Roast Veg wrote: I'd take a listen, even if it is mindlessly repetitive. I'm interested to know how easy it is on such a short timescale. Lo and behold a Link to my upload on furaffinity. I warn you its Kinda ♥♥♥♥. I couldn't think of any good combination of effects, and used a bitcrusher as a filter/overdrive combo and messed around with automating it... that was okay-ish but then I kinda screwed up somewhere. Automating in FL is a bit finicky as it is, but bitrate-changes OMFG thats a pain.
