I have a design for something, but I'm not going to show it until I get a patent.

Good idea, better safe then sorry.
I might want to do that on some of my chairs, though most of this stuff I posted will probably never really get around to being made.
except maby the chairs. I just thought it was a good idea to put these out on the forum because im trying out for an internship with my dads friend Mitch (the one who was just in that popsci article about an ecotopia) and i figured you guys could help me spit N polish them.

I have a suggestion on the skeleton chair. You know how the human spine has a kind of "S" shape, right? What if you could do that to the "spine" of the chair? It could help improve posture or whatever.

You know that's how a knight became Trogdor, right?

Still, what with people not wanting to reveal un-patented ideas, this thread seems useless.

This.

I'll just say that I know I can make a large amount of money off my idea. I just need to get in contact with a few large companies.

hey guys I just came up with the best idea ever

it's gonna make tons of money, just you wait

BULLETBALL

but none of you better steal it on this obscure internet forum until I patent it because I would be so pissed if someone did that I'd totally complain to my mom

Very WIP. Probably not worth the art dump yet.

This sounds oddly like plagiarism of "war".
