I mostly kid, I'd probably prefer a BLT over a bacon-strosity.
BLT (For the unknowing): Toast Bacon Tomato Lettuce Toast

Re: Perfect Sandwich
sourdough bread or roll, swiss cheese (lots of it), deli turkey, mustard (but no mayo) and just a bit of salami, if desired.
plus other toppings as the mood fits.

I always make my sandwiches like that; they have to be the same if I eat them from either side.

Re: Perfect Sandwich
In an italian hoagie/sub roll: Lettuce, turkey, whatever cheese is available, mustard, dash of oil, vinegar, salt, oregano, ham, dusting of garlic powder. In whatever order you come to them in the pantry.

I can almost feel my arteries hardening but man that does sound freaking good. If anyone has a Mr. Pickles near them, it's all about the "Hot T". Wheat bread (retains heat and flavor, doesn't slice the roof of my mouth) cranberry sauce lettuce tomatoe melted pepper jack cheese hot turkey baja sauce (perfectly spicy) wheat bread
