My u3 ScanDisk flashdrive has screwed all up... I typed the wrong password that I added too many times. Now, It says it's permanately innacsessable- I know that's not possible. I can't access anything unless I tell it to delete everything and start from scratch. Or, there's the option to go online and access it there (some recognition thing), it gives you a code, ya type it in, and all's well, except all you have to do is get a new password, and all of the data is recovered (lots of CC crap). Is this true? |

You might have better luck calling the manufacturer. IIRC, those U3 Cruzer drives are encrypted using your password as a key. Good luck undoing that. |

Not really, it makes sense. It's intended to stop brute forcing, and who the ♥♥♥♥ is retarded enough to not pay attention to what they're typing when they know if they ♥♥♥♥ up enough they'll get locked out? |

In addition to my never-ending questions, how the (Insert noun profanity here) can I sync two drives? One uses the U3, one doesn't have any launchpad... I'm stuck- (I'm using two flash drives to back up the other) It's really annoying to have to copy/paste all of my (Insert verb profanity here + ing) documents. |
