DRL Singalong: FINISHED check first post
I was thinking as a cool community project we could all do a singalong. By this I mean us picking a song, each person separately recording themselves singing the song, and then we take all the submissions and combine them, making a singalong. As for the song, feel free to suggest one. So who's interested? EDIT: Your submissions will be not be distributed for privacy's sake if you are embarrassed about your voice. EDIT: Safety Dance Don't Stop Believing was chosen. Submissions due on the 27th. FINISHED PRODUCT: http://www.mediafire.com/?itjtj5kmymz

Re: DRL Singalong
If my horrible singing talent is masked by equally as bad death cries from other people then I am in.

Re: DRL Singalong
Sounds good. Just make sure the song is totally cliche, so that we can all laugh at each other after hearing the final version.

Re: DRL Singalong
I highly doubt the community could get organzied to do this... But it would produce on hell of a song

Frankly, no way I would do this if it weren't for the lulz. I have a feeling that not all the people singing will be the golden voices of angels. Myself included. EDIT: Are the individual submissions going to be available, or will our lack of tune be kept private?

Re: DRL Singalong
Didn't expect such a fast response. As for songs, how about something by Queen, like "Another One Bites the Dust" or "Bohemian Rhapsody"? Again, feel free to suggest songs, because we'll need more input and consensus than "totally cliche" if we are gonna do this man. And make no mistake, WE ARE DOING THIS MAN WE'RE MAKING THIS HAPEN.
EDIT: The individual submissions will be kept private. PM them to me.

Re: DRL Singalong
Crap. I just realized that I know not the lyrics to any of these songs. I am much too much a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in life to know them. Eh, it'll enhance the hilarity.

Re: DRL Singalong
Please take the effort to learn the song we choose. At the very least listen to it a few times to get a hang of the rhythm and look up the lyrics so you can read them off while recording. Even though this is for shits and giggles lets atleast try to make it as good as possible EDIT: I am throwing my vote in for the safety dance, Toes. I think it fits the cliche bill like a glove and will be really fun. Anyone else agree? DOUBLE EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mec8Sx8r ... re=related
