 Stay out of District 9! So... I saw a trailer for a movie made here in my home country South Africa which looks quite decent.
Directed by Blomkamp a South African director and produced by Peter Jackson which will hopefully spice things up for the movie and atleast have a fraction of the success Peter Jackson has had with previous movie.
I'd like to know what you guys think, honestly I can't wait to see this.

Re: Stay out of District 9! District 9 comes out here in just a few days, I plan on going to see it first thing thursday or friday (whenever it gets its first morning showing, can't go at night, Work)
I've seen alot of good things about this movie, although the signs with the aliens on them are so corney. other than that it looks great.

Re: Stay out of District 9! Unless you have an intense home theater system, this is exactly the kind of movie you should see in theaters. It's going to look great, sound great, and be great. Watching it at home is a waste.

I meant to say that my friend scathed me for wanting to see it on DVD, rather than in the cinemas.
