Soundcard issues
'Sup gents.
Me soundcard, she is ♥♥♥♥. Or maybe it's the drivers, I don't know.
Anyways:
Windows does not detect a soundcard. I had it working for a little bit before using realtek audio HD, but after installing updated drivers to try and solve the problem of windows not detecting it, suddenly the realtek software has vanished and I can't get my sound to work at all.
I can't even tell you what soundcard I've got, it doesn't exist as far as this computer is concerned. DXDiag says there is nothing there too. The only sound I get is an error message from my computer itself, as opposed to the speakers.

Re: Soundcard issues
Tried unmounting it, starting up, shutting down, remounting, starting up?
I have no idea if that would work, but it seems like a logical next step.
