I dont know if this is the right section to introduce myself in, so excuse me if this isn't the right section. So, I bought Cortex Command yesterday, and I love it. It will be a long time before I give up on this one. I myself am a Graphic Designer. I have all these designs for weapons and actors in my head, and I would love to put them into action, but I have no idea how to script. Other than that, theres not much. Thanks. |

Welcome, this is probably the best section for an introduction. If not, the mods will move it to where it belongs. As for your mod ideas, a lot of people would die for good sprites, I'm sure you can find a coder to help you out. Just post in the requests section of Mod Making with the sprites and a bit of a description of what you want done with them. |

Really I'm surprised someone hasn't come in here and flamed the tits out of you. Normally DRL doesn't take kindly to introduction threads. @James: Your grammar is as deplorable as ever, but at the least we should have a stickied introduction topic. |

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing some of your sprites. .ini based modding isn't as hard as it may at first seem- head over to Mod Making, look at some templates and tutorials, and you'll soon get the basics. |

Sup, welcome to the forum. Most threads like this get a stunning amount of flames, and are locked. I'm honestly surprised that this one has not. Going to lock it now, since that's how most of the past ones have been dealt with, and it seems unfair to break tradition. Nothing personal. Didn't we have an introduction thread at one point..? |

Thank you. I'll post some sprites in the request section some time today. The only problem I would have would be that im a Mac user, so I dont know how to properly extract .rar files. |

There are many ways to extract .rars on a mac. I googled "rar on mac" and got this little page that might help you. |

True story guys, the TIGSource forums have a rule that you have to introduce yourself. It makes you part of the community, and everyone there is friends. There is no unhappiness. People get flamed for not introducing themselves. |
