Re: World of Warcraft
[cough] Raatar Draenei, Blood Death Knight Level 80 Vashj
Geriggen Dwarf, Beast Mastery Hunter Level 55 Vashj
Vask Human, Retribution Paladin Level... er... 16 Vashj [/cough]
But you didn't hear it from me... I haven't been playing much at all lately since the chances of finding a freaking group for anything as an 80 suck ass. and I never realized how hard it is to do quests as a low level, so my pally is low, but I bought him all of the best gear possible for several levels.

Re: World of Warcraft
I mirror your question. This game is the equal of Runescape, yet so few people play that. It is the equal of EVE online, yet no one plays that. EDIT: ProjektTHOR reported me for this post. And people call me touchy.

Re: World of Warcraft
I have played WoW but last time i played was looong looong time ago I play runescape now but not paying for playing it and i don't play it much, like once in a week. It's good game because it does not pay insane amount of 15€ a month. And you are not have to buy CD's or download anything.

Re: World of Warcraft
I mean....sure WoW is ok-ish and all.........but is it really worth $15 a month?
I'd rather spend my time playing a free MMO (not including runescape)
To those people who do play it, is it really worth the $15 a month.....?

Re: World of Warcraft
seeing as 9 MILLION (correct me if im wrong) people play it worldwide. i think its worth it. I, myself, have played it for a good 6 months. only getting to level 63. It was fun. but i regret it because i did loose that money i could've spent elsewhere. and in the end, what does that Level 63 NIGHT ELF hunter really matter?

Re: World of Warcraft
well better gameplay. WoW has more addictive gameplay then other MMOs. Some people play to get the gear. others play to fight player vs player. others like raids and progressing through the game in general. and lastly, WoW is an RPG. and tons of people just stay on WoW to Roleplay, talk, and join guilds.
The one thing i did like in WoW was the very player driven economy. someitems would be up a couple of 2g some days, and as the demand lowers they would go down. this allows for some EPIC merchanting. you can easily make tons of money if you use that auction house right. buy thing while they are low. sell em' when their high.

Re: World of Warcraft
I have a few characters, no ones above level 35 though. Me and my brother made some orcs in 2008 and played together, it was pretty fun but our subscriptions ran out and we were at a rather frustrating bit in the Hillsbrad foothills collecting stone runes from some elementals, they were very annoying and you got attacked by the wrong enemy every six seconds. That sort of made us not start our subscriptions up again. I also have a level 32 (I think) human in Nordrasill and a level 32 or 33 night elf on Runetotem (I think). I might restart my account soon because the game is so immensely fun, not sure though.
Also I'm glad there's a monthly fee, keeps out the riff raff.

Re: World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft:
It is fun, It is addictive, It slowly drains your money, in increments that seem affordable It results ins months of wasted time.
World of Warcraft, is a drug, albeit a virtual one.
I played WoW for 3-6 months, I dont remember... I only got to lv 40 something, I kept getting lost, and everyone I played with kept changing servers.
Warcraft is a great universe, but I don't think I'll ever play it again. I spent that entire time doing almost nothing BUT play wow. I have a life, and it almost ruined it.
If you don't play wow, don't start. It's not the money that is the price, it's the time and sanity. I eagerly await starcraft 2, and the eventual and inevitable warcraft 4.
For the record though, LV 40-ish Gnome Warlock, Demonologist, with engeniering +250 goggles, bright red handlebar moustache, named DrRobotnik.
