Post help with new computer component purhase
my current system is
xp sp 2
2 GB ram
2.4 procecor
geforce 8500 GT graphics card...
i want to buy a new card and i can give up to 350/450 euros.
should i buy a new card or somthing else?
also what exacly should i buy???
are the procecor and ram ok or should i buy more ram etc?

RAM is ok, processor is not unless it's a dual-core.

We'd need your motherboard to see what kind of gfx it can support :|

the procecor is INTEL CORE 2 QUAD CORE Q6600 2.40 (copy paste from system information)
and the motherboard is from asus model P5N-E SLI.

Well your processor is fine, I thought it was a sucky P4 or something.

Too lazy to google about your motherboard, but if it supports SLI it should be fine.
Uhh, go to Newegg.com and look for a good card with your budget? You should get something pretty good with that money, since I paid 500€ for my whole computer.

Someone else should post some suggestions, I don't really know about the latest in graphics technology.

I think kalle's an idiot for giving you newegg when you specified euros. Newegg is US/Canada only. Parts are going to be much, much more expensive in europe.

well i found a ebay like company for my country which sell computer parts...
so all i need to find now is exacly what i want.
ok last question.
i think than the GeForce 9800 GX2 is the best i can get...
should i buy it???
