Steam is iwillcontrolyou. Play Gmod every once in a while now. Get PHX3, Wire, Stacker, Weight tool and Smartsnap just for basics. Get GCombat08 and GCX for weapons fun. |

GMod really seems like it's been dying out lately. Could you do me a favor and try and speak with correct spelling? |

Facepunch has done all kinds of crap and basically made all the good modders leave IIRC... So yeah, dying out, completely the fault of moronic Facepunch administration. |

[offtopic] Saying someone's spelling is "not that bad" is like saying "I have a pencil in my back, but it doesn't hurt as much as a knife would." The fact remains that the pencil is still in your back and it's still hurting you. I'm a stickler for proper spelling/grammar on the Internet, less so when it comes to things you cannot edit and don't spend much time on (i.e.: IRC, AIM, MSN, etc.), but to a great extent when it comes to things you do spend time on and can think about before posting. I used to put no value on my Internet messages, chat or otherwise, but speak like a n00b and expect to be treated like one. Learn that lesson quickly and you'll have a better online reputation in no time. Also, that post is totally off-topic and subject to action by moderators. It is considered spamming. Contribute something to the topic or don't post at all. [/offtopic] I love Garry's Mod, but as Venn said: it's sorta dying out. For me, it was my crappy computer: flatgrass only, no explosions, no NPCs, no killing, 3 stock, no items, Fox only, Final Destination. I either had to play like a cripple or cripple everyone else so I could play. I'm hoping to get an old GeForce 6800 AGP graphics card to remedy this situation, so I'm waiting. On the other hand, toying around with Wiremod is one of the most enjoyable things I've done in a video game, and SmartSnap is requisite if you're looking to build serious contraptions. At least get Wiremod for Advanced Duplicator, which allows you to upload/save/download creations on other peoples' servers. If you like what you see in Wire, look for "Orb's Tutorials." It's an excellent series on stuff in Wire, as well as a number of extremely awesome uses of the mod, including auto-aiming turrets and a board which stays upright without using the "Keep Upright" tool. In any case, I may try again. Just no spamming a fat load of explosive barrels if I'm around. I'll crash. |

There's no reason to go out of your way and bring that up when there are individuals who make much more flagrant errors than the OP here. His post was perfectly understandable, and there's no reason to call him out on it. Also, I used to play Gmod. I guess one sentence makes my post on-topic. |

Exalion wrote: Don't forget to get advanced duplicator (aka adv dup) It's essential, it lets you save your creations! Unless he's hosting a server it doesn't matter. He doesn't need it. Gmod is far from dying out. Enjoy playing with the wrong communities. None of the good modders on FP have left. Only idiots like Conna and LPine have left(even though he really hasn't). Greasemonkey, Feihc, aVon, TetaBonita, Jaanus, etc are all still there. Now that I think of it, only dumb people have left. If anything the modding scene has improved. I still play, and there's plenty of good servers to go on. There's methods to crash terrible RP servers that garry will never find, and fun can still be had by ruining other people's fun. I don't see any lackluster in the community. |

http://www.picture-wars.com/phpBB3/view ... 462#p61462 The first picture has nothing to do with what I wanted to show you, (also, Tim is not LordTim here) the other three pictures are screenshots of Gmod picture-wars, where some people on PW have their sprited armies adv. duped on this server, then we do battle with them. I hate camera weapon. |
