Uh, if you are used to a controller configuration, you shouldn't have a problem.

Besides, the Xbox version doesn't play against the PC version.

Cory lost, lawl.

Buy the controller from somewhere it is easily returned (Wal-Mart, if they are available in your locale). Try it. If it doesn't work, return the controller. Wal-Mart, and even Best Buy/Circuit City are like Rent-a-Center when it comes to that stuff.

If you get a controller and play against PC people you're going to get the ♥♥♥♥ raped out of you. The mouse has such superior accuracy that you won't stand a chance with a controller.

This. You'd have to turn the sensitivity all the way up and have much better reflexes than the mousers.

Even I, when using a mouse, turn the sensitivity up to what I call the 180-degree twitch, because I have to be able to react fast enough.

At this point, it boils down to personal preference. You ♥♥♥♥ with the settings enough, and you can get the same reactivity as a mouse with a pair of sticks.

I already have the controller and after reading some reviews im getting the Orange Box srsly a bunch of games for 40$

Even if the mousers rape me the controller is still good for casual killing I can get kills with it in Op7 and it doesnt sense the joysticks properly. (controller beats mouse by far in gtaIV multiplayer XD)

Yes, well, games originally made with the gamepad in mind such as GTA4 or Devil May Cry 4 are always going to play better with the gamepad, but FPSs are just about murder with one.

The orange box has native 360 pad support right out of the box. Im starting to think its gonna be preatty good. The main problem ive had with multiplayer is that the analog sticks dont sense how far im moving them and move at one set speed.
