Multiwinia
http://www.introversion.co.uk/multiwinia/It's the Multiplayer version of Darwinia, except it controls better and you don't need to play Darwinia to understand it. The reason why I'm posting this is that Multiwinia has the highest conversion rate (that means if you play the demo, you have the highest chance to buy it) out of any Introversion game to date. However, advertising and reviews for Multiwinia is drastically less than Introversion's past games. Save Multiwinia.Anyway, onto the game. It's an RTS where you control hundreds of little Multiwinians in battles spanning six modes and dozens of maps. While the gameplay seems shallow, the fun comes in when you are fighting over Crates. Crates fall from the sky and take a short while to be captured. When they are captured, you get a powerful power-up such as a transport vehicle or a nuclear strike. These powerful Crates have game-Changing properties. Pics: Here is a video explaining the Main mode, Domination: http://download.introversion.co.uk/mirr ... 52x288.movPlay the Demo even if you are just vaguely interested in the game: http://www.introversion.co.uk/multiwinia/downloads/The Demo and full game are also available on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/1530/

Re: Multiwinia
This is am awesome game, the graphics are great and the game play matches it brilliantly, the demo has an awesome amount of content and is the only demo I plan to keep indefinitely, well at least until I buy it.(though I've also never uninstalled the world of goo demo)

Re: Multiwinia
This is the sequel to Darwinia, right? Thought so.
Someone wanna kind of tell me what it is? I always thought it looked kinda quirky in a cool way, but was always skeptical.

Re: Multiwinia
@Venn,
It's essentially Darwinia Multiplayer.
But like I said, they improved the controls and the graphics. It's just all around a lot of fun. Just try the Demo.

Neither have I. I haven't even heard of it. But try this out. I played the first basic tutorial, and it's pretty addicting.

Re: Multiwinia
It's an RTS. There are little people creators that create people. You click near them and a thing starts to select them, then you right-click to move them. If they get within range of the enemy, they shoot them/throw some grenades.

Re: Multiwinia
Is this one of those "twenty different types of resources" RTSs that you have to micromanage to all ♥♥♥♥ a hundred different ways to win, or closer to Starcraft?

Re: Multiwinia
From what I can tell by playing the tutorial level, there are no resources to collect other than capturing the creator things.

Think Company of Heroes, you essentially get "resources" by capturing points. Only the resources are just more spawned Multiwinians. So no mining resources, just capturing spawn points. And Darwinia was much more focused om Micromanaging your programs rather than an overall battle strategy. Like I said (again), try the demo.

I played it, and I can see why it has a high conversion rate.
