Well we have to make shows on english on every new year . So we want to make a meet of Santas (well Ukrainians have Father Frost , but thats the same) . We (santas) are meeting in Finnland - the mother land of santas . Well im playing Santa from Spain . The thing im asking here the spanish accent . I dunno how everything *reads* + i need to change some english words on spanish . And i also need to say one problem of country that i will fix in the next year . |

There's a bit more to it than that depending on where it's spoken but for the most part, letters always sound the same. (unlike English) http://www.lingolex.com/pronounce/ is a decent site that should show you letter pronunciations. Another thing to consider is you (almost?) always stress the second-to-last syllable unless there is an accent mark somewhere else. |

Ack! No no no that isn't all. If it has an 's', pronounce it as a 'th'. A slight lisp is included in the European Spanish accent. Just don't lisp on the Z sounds. Also, it helps if you have at some point heard Spanish. |

Oh yes, and: If there's a tilde'd n (n with a ~ over it), it has to be pronounced ny. Like Espana (Spanish for Spain), has a tilde over the n that I can't reproduce at the moment, pronounced Ess-pahn-ya. And yes, in Spain they do in fact have a lisp as mentioned. I believe it had something to do with one of their kings having one or something... |
