Video Capture Card Recommendation
Recently some of my friends pooled together money to start making machinima. While they know if to script, act out, etc, the needed me to edit, record audio, and record video. (IE: BUY A CAPTURE CARD) The only problem is I'm having some trouble finding one. If anyone could recommend a decent internal capture card for under $80 that would be great. (Note: I'm recording off of a 360 for Halo machinima.)

Doesn't Halo 3 have a built in movie recording thing?

Yeah, and it's the best thing about Halo 3. It's got a damn good recorder, but I don't think he can convert it to movies, not the kind you can play on a computer, anyway.

So you can't download them from the streams on bungie.net? I thought they were streamed as .flv... ♥♥♥♥ quality, but... meh.

Re: Video Capture Card Recommendation
Actually, funnily enough my first thought, but after some investigation it didn't seem possible. That would be preferable though. If any of you have a favorite card that would be fine too.

If you want to do real post-production, dont use the in-game recorder.
Drop the money on anything in your price range with the Hauppauge name brand. They make good equipment.
