anyone who has airsoft guns would you care to tell me if J&G is a good brand? and don't say echo 1 their practically the same.

I am going to make a point.
Now, that gun you told him to order because it is cheaper, is known as an LPEG, Low Power Electric Gun, this is characterized by a plastic gearbox that will break very fast.
Now, a Jing Gong, is an MPEG, Medium Power Electric Gun, this means it it a clone of a usually copyrighted airsoft gun (Most airsoft guns are made in Japan or China, for example, Tokyo Mauri (High end ♥♥♥♥ there, I have one, $300) doesn't do anything about it and as such there are hundreds of clones, most Mpeg's are actually a direct clone of either an ICS, Mauri, or Systema gearbox (this doesn't mean they are as good) make HPEG's or AEG's, those are expensive, upgradable, and RELIABLE.) they no longer become cheap hunks of plastic gearboxes and wobbly rails, but instead something you would take to a field and play a scenario with!
In conclusion, CHEAPER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER, AND KENNYCLONE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE.

Oh also Tendrop is dumb because ShortyUsa is overpriced as ♥♥♥♥ and all the guns are still made in Japan Etc. you're just paying more than just about every other site on the planet to have some site with "USA" in the name sell you something at $25-$50 more than other American based retailers, seriously, ASGI and trinity are based in the USA, and ShortyUSA still mostly sells Japan or china made guns, STOP WASTING MONEY, use Airsoftgi or Trinityairsoft, or hell, find an airsoft forum to ask about good sites *Cough* airsoftforum.com *Cough*



Oh, and Regarding the JG/Echo 1 thing, what Echo 1 does is rebrand guns and slap in a warranty and +$25, most of their guns are JG's with less powerful springs, but the MP5k is a Galaxy MP5PDW

To be honest I can't think of a single american made airsoft gun that isn't pure ♥♥♥♥, like a Crosman, or Cybergun (Which are also just clones of Japanese stuff or just pure ♥♥♥♥)

I've got a Crosman. So tell me, how do I know if it's low or medium powered? I don't recall it saying on the box.

hey The ClamV2, thanks for the explanation between the medium and the light gun. now it kind of makes sense. i visit thinkgeek alot and i remember them having airsoft guns on the website. and some of my friends have airsoft guns and we might make an airsoft club at our school to shoot each other and junk.
