Laptop wireless?
Hey. I just bought a new laptop today (HP Pavilion dv6700 Notebook PC) and I cant set up the wireless for it. It says the connection is excellent, and I can access the internet but its dreadfully slow. It takes around 5 minutes to load google. The connection on the desktop pc is still great, works fine, but the laptop wont work.
I tried to connect to the network afterwards, now it wont even connect. I looked in the network and sharing centre, and it shows my laptops name on the network, but it wont work at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I have to call the helpline.

Re: Laptop wireless?
Without knowing anything about your computer, sounds like a faulty part.

Re: Laptop wireless?
You could be right there mate. I was messing around earlier trying to get it to work, and i discovered scroll lock and print screen buttons dont work. Its also nothing to do with the network, as my brother can still connect to Xbox Live. Ill call customer support in the morning and get some help, and if it still doesnt work its definatly a faulty wireless chip.

Re: Laptop wireless?
And you say it's a brand new, never been used laptop? If I were you, I'd ♥♥♥♥♥ about how you were given broken ♥♥♥♥. You can get a looooot of leeway when it looks like you might give a bad recommendation.

Re: Laptop wireless?
Lolaptops. I hate the things. Mobility is not something I need when I'm on a computer. Enough phones do that crap anyway.
