What can build for £600?
I'd like to build my own gaming PC as my mac doesn't cut it for gaming. I'd be grateful if anyone could tell me what I can get with £600 ($1040). I'd like to be able to play Source games on high and crysis on decent settings. So yeah, suggest the best stuff I could get for that money. While I ask, could any of you suggest a good UK based equivalent of NewEgg?
In before "Just get bootcamp on your mac".

http://www.sharkyextreme.com/guides/index.phpMay has a guide for Value PC which is a $1000 budget cap. Feel free to check more recent months, however, as prices constantly change, obviously.

Well, he seems to be using British Pounds as his currency. That narrows it down a bit.

I read USD at first, 600 pounds is much more to work with. A grand is enough to build you one ♥♥♥♥ beast of a box. Now do you have an OS or should I include that in the price?

Re: What can build for £600?
Translation: It'd be cheaper to move to America for a week, order the parts from newegg, and move back.

Ack, that's a drag. Yeah, Newegg rocks hard. Somebody send London up a Newegg branch.
