Extralife is a fundrasier in which you play videogames for 24 hours straight. The idea is, that your friends and family donate 1$ for every hour you play. Cool huh? All the proceeds support kids with cancer, and all you have to do is get a little active, join a team, or make one, and you can sit on your butt and play videogames for 24 hours! Go to http://extralife.sarcasticgamer.com/ for more info, and join my team:

PwningCancer

You can search Jack Kelly to find this. Good luck everyone, and lets kick some cancer ass!

Unless this is a weekend, I can't do it.

If it is, I might have a shot at it.

It's a saturday, Oct. 18th, and if you can't do 24 hours just do 12. My team is PwningCancer4Kidz, and just search Jack Kelly in the search gamers to find it. Simply join and create a profile. Also, let me know what games you guys want to play and when, I will post my schedule later. Yes I'm doing the whole 24 hours. Lots of mountain dew, LOTS.

haha lol I know, I'm gonna get a few of those cool mountain dew's. I like the art on them, i'm gonna have to get a hell of a lot of sleep before this. Its gonna be worse in the day than at night.

Luckily I'll have my friends and team playing with me, it'll be fun!

Indeed. I can see it in the news already:
4292 gamers die of exhaustion in gaming marathon.
Like several asian guys, who where found sitting lifeless in their chairs due to break neglection/straight on gaming for hours on end.

Okay... let me get this straight.

You play video games for 24-hours straight, and get $1 an hour to pay for the eye-cancer you just received?

Everyone knows that the alpha emissions from monitors only exists on CRTs.

You do know that--right?

Its a fundraiser for kids with cancer, you get the enjoyment of playing videogames, and of helping kids with cancer, I don't see what's wrong with it.

Wait now, October 18th?

Why is it the same day as the PSAT's? At least in my school and iirc most schools.

Aren't PSATs done in-school? So how would you have them on a Saturday?
