Well, money is an issue when moving. I bet most people don't have the money to just pack up and leave.

No Power, No AC, No Music, And No Interwebz. As Friggin' soon as the power goes off I'm Packin' up and going North for a week. Hello Comfort Inn! I live in South Alabama and we get hit by the East side WHICH IS THE STRONGEST PART OF THE STORM, but theres nothing wrong with that, EXCEPT NO POWER AND WIND PUSHING TREES OVER. |

A hurricane wouldn't be about to hit my house because I am intelligent enough to avoid living in a long-established propogation zone for storms that are DOZENS OF MILES WIDE. If I WERE living there, I certainly wouldn't hang around when a hurricane came rolling in. I'd be looooong gone. ESPECIALLY if it's forecasted to hit category five. |

My american friend's house got hit by a hurricane too while I was chillin' in Gmod... We just keep playing Gmod till it's done. He got really scared and I just lol'ed. Hahaha. Imunidade brasileira contra acidentes naturais!!! |

Yeah, sorry about the hurricane thing, but quite frankly... no, I'm really not. People seriously need to not live in those areas. If a guy who lived in Alaska complained about a snowstorm, you'd ask him why he lived in Alaska, wouldn't you? On a semi-related note, New Orleans should be turned into only an industrial port with no year-round residents. |
