I'm getting a nice new swish PC and want something bold and exciting for a monitor. I currently have a 19" TFT monitor so anythings going to be an improvement. I've been looking into getting a TV/Monitor. Any views on this? I hear there's some trouble with resolutions, but, your get HD, cheap price, larger screen and freeview. Also, i can use my PS3 with it etc... with extra HDMI ports. Views??? (Also, Ebuyer has real cheap screens, whaddaya think!?!) http://www.ebuyer.com/product/134824 |

32" is ridiculous, and guaranteed it has a slow refresh rate. A 21 to 22 inch monitor is more than enough, has everything you'd need, and is a lot cheaper. |

Get a 1080p LCD with HDMI and VGA inputs. Multiples of those are up to you. Inchwise, listen to Grif. |

Get something with a small native resolution so you can run games easily in your correct resolution...17" FTW! |

Ok, I'm thinking 26" then. I need to be able to use it as a TV too you see... 17" is waaaay to small for my needs. I need to be able to use it for a pc and then from a distance on a sofa in my room.... Thats why i need a decent Larg-ish HD TV. I would get a large monitor with HD and TV input but they are so expensive that way round... =/ EDIT: Scratch it, i'll go for a nice large 28" TFT monitor with HD etc... That should sort out any resolution problems and help with pc gaming etc as well as working as a fine TV =] Now i just need to get a new PC... |
