Hey guys. I made a few wav files that I wanna use for some stuff, but the bitrate is way too high. Its default at 352k, and there is no way to change the bitrate on export. Anyone know how I can change the bitrate of the files from 352k down to 44.1k? |

This can apparently do it. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/CDex I've never used it but it says its freeware and can convert mp3's to a lower bitrate. |

When I was googleing I saw something about Itunes being able to do it too. Personally I hate itunes with a passion. |

I use a old version of DBpowerAmps "MusicConverter" to change the bitrate of my sounds, I haven't tried the latest version but you could. |

Ahh thanks p3l thats perfect. easy to use and it works. + non existant rep Too bad it only has a trial. I guess I'll have to 100% legally in every single way 'find' a key to get the full version. |

You can change WAV encoding options in Sound Recorder. But you'd probably be better off compressing to Vorbis with an app like Audacity. (free) |
