Post Stranded 2
A freeware game from Unreal Software, Stranded 2 is a 1st person survival game. If anyone has ever played the WC3 mod "Wilderness Survival", it's like that but in all three of the glorious D's

The story isn't too far from stereotype with an Englishman giddy with excitement from buying a new yacht goes straight into a storm and becomes shipwrecked. You must then find a way to survive.

The difficulty isn't too hard, as long as you use common sense. Besides the adventure mode there is a mode for playing on a random island, or you could use the island editor to make your own.

I won't spoil any more for those who want to play

It's a pretty awesome game. The single player gets pretty hard pretty quickly, but I won't spoil anything. Also, this game does have spoilers, so if you wanna play through the game without unlocking secrets not meant to be unlocked, I'd recommend not being too near this thread. It'll get very secret-unlocking very quickly. That's what happens to all threads about this game.

Does it have muiltplayer? Last time I played it didn't. This game would be FREAKING AWESOME to play muiltplayer. Build up a village with friends, construct farms, construct weapons, wage war... all on a island.

I wonder how you make iron objects, other than rods, and bolts.

I played the first stranded; didn't like it to be honest.

Worth a go though.

The first Stranded is no where near as cool as the second.

Jesus Christ its a lion! GET IN THE CAR!

I just finished the adventure mode and it was fun, yet somewhat it felt like work rather than a game after the few first hours when you've uncovered the most of the stuff.

Online would perfect this game.

I know for a fact there would be a Lost mod.

God I hate the Pirate, yet I raided his stockpiles. :)

And the areblast is a full provider, just shoot birds.
And taming ferocious/benign land animals is hard, I lost provisions/got mauled many a times.
Investing in fishing, and hunting is a great thing to do.
Butterflies carry weight when caught.

Plagues are fun

I would have stopped playing after the 3 island because it was just working so I googled for some cheats. And they rocked but spoiled the initial survival part of the game.

just press "tilde" ingame and then type "cheat" (without quotes) and you get a menu of lotta fun stuff. Rocketlauncher was my fav.
