Metal Gear Solid 4
Anyone played this through? I am currently in a certain snowly level I hate in act 4, and I am just at the part in which something happens to Naomi and I defeat a certain knife-licker. (I didn't want to spoil it).
So far its a great game, a bit too slow paced at some points, and those 3 legged metal gears are annoying as hell. The GEKKO are weird, they make cow moos.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 4
You're at Shadow Moses Island and you're fighting Vamp, eh? What you have to do is equip a handgun and shoot him until he falls, then CQC hold him, and inject him with the syringe so he becomes human.
If you want to look at the spoilers, copy and paste them onto something to make the words bigger.
And also, has anyone gotten the Solar Gun?

It is either you love it or you hate it. You really have to be a MGS fan to enjoy it. I mean 6 hours of it are cutscenes. Also Mushy, I thought you were perma banned.

Not to be an arrogant ♥♥♥♥, but I usually enjoy my games with some story, not my story with some game.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 4
I beat the game, and I already knew to defeat defeat vamp partilly. He gave the clue of the nanomachines, so I knew I had to use the synringe, and inject with CQC, but I didn't know how to grab him with CQC, untl I read how to defeat him is to kill them then to grab him when he is down just after he gets ressurected. Vamp sucks! Also, I beat the game. The solar gun sounds powerful.

It's sad.... Seeing Solid Old Snake Die. And the fact that this is the end of one of the most awesome series ever.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 4
Old Snake is old. Yup. I fail to see how that qualifies as a spoiler. Now, revealing the specifics would be. But the fact that he appears old? No spoiler there.
I think he looks odd without the bandanna on. But I suppose that's just me. Which is why I love the FaceCamo.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 4
Old snake is NOT old, he APPEARS old. He went from looking like around 30-ish to around 50-ish in a year. Therefore, he isn't old.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 4
Murr, Snake is still dead though...I mean, Otacon is chronicling the LAST DAYS of Solid Snake.
I'm glad the series ended so moronic Playstation fanboys have practically lost their greatest weapon.
"Oh, but the memory of snake lives on!" "Yeah, but he died." "shuddup..."
