I, reioko2101, have been published by poetry.com through one of their free poetry contests! I am scheduled to be published in one of their anthologies. Quote: Echoes For My Incoherent Love. Let Earth Rest The fog and haze upon the air Does he really watch or care Won't somebody listen? There's no time to spare They seem to be severely blind The coming century, the rest of time Cynical scowls of greed clutch their dimes. The simple way we seem to lie The lazy way we claim to die But life is something you can't just buy I thank you for the formic stare The wry, indignant, horrid glare The ride is up, it's time to pay the fare Robert F. Poem seems to be meaningless. Also weirdest rhyme scheme ever. It sounds good though? |

I know...I wasn't serious when I sent it to them for the contest...It's mediocre at best. |

That's pretty nifty. It's a sort of chaotic poem you could say, but I like it. So... what exactly is it going to be in? Anyways, good luck with that! |

The actual poem has my REAL name on it, with out the typo. It's going to be published in a series hosted by poetry.com called "Immortal Verses" For the theme, I really tried to go for a type of ignorance, greed kind of deal. I understand it was slightly obscured. And yes brinlarden, 'the ride is up' characters death, but not just the death of an individual, more as the death of chance. We ran out of time while having our fun, (destroying the atmosphere and whatnot,) and now were paying for it. |

The first to lines in each stanza are great, and then the third line ruins it with some unexpected amount of syllables. |

I don't get it. Also there are too many syllables sometimes. ... Then again I don't like much poetry. Not even my own. ... Which is probably why I don't have any. |
