I love how it's "Exculsive" to Xbox360... until they make a port of it to PC.
Looks more like a new mission set and weapon tweak than a full blown sequel...

So yeah, in case you haven't heard Gears 2 is coming in November. Gametrailers has released some footage showing off new ordinance (New and non-shit Hammerburst, Gorgon burst pistol), New features (Hum- um.. GOW was fun, but the reload system was annoying, especially when in a firefight. Unless you counted many seconds it takes for the bar to reach the right place. The Chainsaw was fun, the funniest weapon ever (Except for GTA 4's cars) Not all sequels have new features (as in like something new that's not levels or weapons) Megaman 2 Had no new feature. |

Mombasa: How DARE you say the hammerburst was ♥♥♥♥. I could take down a player with two bursts if I nail the active reload, and sometimes a slap in the face is more versatile then the chainsaw. The hammerburst took on it's own moniker among me and my friends, 'The Weapon Of Pros'. Just gotta know how to use it. Lead your shots a bit. Roy: If you can't nail an active reload after 5 minutes of playing the game, you don't deserve too. That said, an update came out for GoW that made the sniper rifle active reload take you down to 1 hit point, but it only lasted for about 2-3 days. Those were the BEST days of GoW ever. No more idiot's getting lucky BODY shots with an active reload putting you down, unless you were already hit. |

Hammerburst sucks... Poison grenades however, probably wont. @ Beowulf: Pay attention, then maybe you'll see what's new. |

Although Gears of War was actually really good, I hated how the only 3 colours were grey, red and brown. And lets not forget the main characters were a bunch of men with biceps bigger than their heads and the only things they could talk about were "Kicking ass, and banging women." They sickened me, although the game all in all, was amazing. |

gears of war rocked, i spent about 9 months sitting in my house playing multiplayer :3 i actualy lost weight cuz i forgot to eat aswell. anyway 2 is shaping up to be pretty epic, im wondering if those sexy features from that tech demo will be in the game though :\ especialy the destruction. the fact that many more characters will be on screen makes me wonder if multiplayers going to get more players... |

Apparently they-re cranking it up to 5 on each side. And if you lost weight during the first one, your going to turn anorexic in the second. |
