I played it for about a week last year, but got bored of using the 'circle target for the lulz so as they may not hit you.' command, and firing at pirate ships.

I have been thinking about taking the Trial again, maybe today/tomorrow.

What do you all say?

Massive alliance fleet battles are really laggy. :|

I say go for it. Now that I've made my new rig...(sort of, got some defective parts, more like insanely upgraded my old rig), and I can play the game well, I'm thinking about playing it.

I must say I rather enjoyed EVE, apparently it got better ratings than W.O.W. I might pay for a month or two when I get a job.

Seeing as an admin already posted here, I must bring this up without reporting.

Shouldn't this be in the link dump?

Link dump is a farce.
This is discussion.

Also, I played the trial for one day then stopped...

Yeah, pretty much the same here.

Played for a day, was done with it.

I really think it's time for a new MMO, anyway.

Well VCO WAS WORKING UNTIL YOU ALL LEFT FOR SOME YOUNG AND PRETTY MMO FROM JAPAN. No MMO will ever trust you until you can learn some fidelity.

Anyways, if you're going to talk about a new DRLFF MMO, do it in a different thread, this one is fro EVE.

The main thing that bothered me with EVE was that they made it unneccessarily difficult to play/find things. And the tutorial liked to break.

The tutorial was also very, well 'hard' for people who have NOT gone to space before. seriously, when creating an account they might as well ask "How many times have you gone to space before?" to see whether or not you can COPE with the obnoxious amount of glowing icons around your spaceship.

Odd, I found the tutorial pretty simple, if annoyingly long. Guess that means I've been to space? The only thing I found hard, was trying to figure out what ISK had to do with ETC codes...

Ok, I'm going to download/install the trial now and make an account. If you want to join me go ahead.

Don't forget that recently they made an engine overhaul (and some gameplay features too). That means download the premium graphics for great justice. They're very shiny, really. They changed the tutorial too from what I knew, but I'm not sure, since I didn't do it after the Trinity overhaul. I'd join you but I got no money to reactivate. <.<

I'll be resubscribing after my exams are up, I should be able to pay for my account with in game ISK after that month.

The learning curve is steep and the massive battles are laggy, you need to find someone to teach you the ropes kind of, blah blah blah I like it still.

Wait, so how can you pay for the game with ISK? EDIT: Okay I get it now, but WHERE could I by GTC's with ISK?

Post subject:  Re: EVE Online

You usually get GTCs with ISK on the EVE forums. Once you settle with someone they'll send you a contract in-game. It's all secure.
